In what way, I dont think you can compare them, Kalitta is a much bigger beast with its own sim center with 4 sims, a maintenance center thats huge and has a bigger fleet and a unionized work force of 900+ pilots and growing

In terms of QoL and terms and conditions. I've compared objectively with the publicly available information; pay, pension, schedule... They seem very similar, better pension at Kalitta, schedules at National are less stable. Same starting pay, 64 hour guarantee vs 65 hour guarantee. 16/15 travelling day 0 vs 17/13 travelling day one.

But what is the general sentiment on how they compare as places to work?

Lots of guys have left National for Kalitta, I don't know of amyone who willingly left Kalitta for National. That should answer your question.
