Newb Life - West Coast

Any wisdom on QoL for someone living in the SF Bay Area? I'm targeting carriers with SFO/OAK domiciles but if that doesn't work out K4 seems like it might be a pretty good option. Any thoughts?

If you have to go east to start your pattern at K4 being a west coaster will cost you a bit of time on your last day off... we do have some trips which start in LA, SEA or ANC.... and that better as you would likely leave later in the day.

I’m a west coaster. When I first was hired by K4 it sucked because every month my rotation started in CVG. It’s a 2 leg commute that kills your entire day. After about 6 months I was able to hold lines that started in LA or SFO and it’s been incredible. There’s nothing like driving to work, or starting your commute after dinner. It really is a 16 day rotation once you can hold a decent line.
