Yeah, I know. But a lot has happened in Geocaching in the last two years.

- The website is better
- There's at least 50x more caches
- and there everywhere (15 in Basrah, Iraq)
- They now have an iPhone app
- GPS receivers have become more accurate and with more advanced interfaces (interfi?)

You can tell I'm quite the geocacher. It's a grown-up's treasure hunt. Yes, my wife rolls her eyes every time I proclaim I've found another cache but it's too much fun to care.

I would expect caches to be hidden near all crew hotels. There are over 1 million caches world wide. Software has gotten a lot better. I download caches to my GPS based on location, difficulty, type ,etc.

One part of the "game" has what's called "travel bugs". We just recently placed 6 of these in Vegas with the goal of racing to Atlantic city, and then other gambling mecca's. We also released a bug from South Carolina that is now in Germany.

We were able to cache in 5 states (over 1000 miles) in one day in the Mooney.

It's quite addictive.

I've found a few caches on overnights. They are around.
