I had a *no can miss* scheduled event within the first month of getting hired. Between the leave accured, and at the time a WONDERFUL thing called credit hours, I was able to build enough time off tocover my event. I was also told that you could go negative on the leave balance up to a certain amount.

Hiring manager was VERY helpful.
One more question, certainly not the last - Flying in the day before the check (which is scheduled at 7 am)....arrive at 1245 pm or 600 pm. Any thoughts? Obviously I don't want to stress over missing my flight, being late, etc., but really don't want to kill a day in Dallas. Someone said maybe oral the night before? |

I couldn't see them doing the oral the night before, but I'm wrong on a daily basis. |

I got in the night before around 1800 from EWR. I was picked up around 0830 for a 0900 meet/brief. I was on the A/C side so this might not be much too help, sorry.

Yeah, my oral was the night before it was supposed to happen. Luckily, the oral was extremely easy. Basic regs and stuff.

Question, and i apologize in advance if someone has asked this!
Can you get an inspectors job without a 4 year degree. Lets say my cousin has 7 different types (boeing to shorts), currently flying and employed, MEII (current), past department manager, sim inst. and just all around nice frigin guy :D with about 20 grand in the hours department! Just curious! Cheers, Cargo Hired strictly because I'm so good looking! Oh wait, maybe it was my timing instead. They were hurting for an ops inspector and wanted one with an airworthiness background. Yea, that's what it was. OKC FSDO needs inspectors. |
