Old Airline Pilot Uniforms
OK.
This may be silly but I'm going to ask it anyway.
Now retired from 33 years of FAR 121 flying.
I have several uniforms from mostly defunct Airlines that are taking up space in my closet.
They have been professionally cleaned and put in plastic covering, and now hang from hangers.
These things are using more space, for nothing, than I think is appropriate.
What do you people do with old uniforms that will never be worn again, but you still want to keep in the family for ????
Thanks in advance.

Totally understand the posterity and nostalgia angles...
Have you ever considered taking them to the mall's Glamour Shots, airport or any other meaningful location to have yourself professionally photographed wearing your old uniforms? It may be a more personal way of handing down your memories to your kids/grand kids than something that is sure to get moldy, dusty, and take up space before being thrown out anyways.
I wish I had nice photos of my relatives in their military and professional uniforms.

To Cubdrick,
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I no longer fit in my older uniforms from many years ago, so your idea won't be happening, but thanks for the thought.
I actually did have that done at my last employment and the photo is very cool, and hangs in my house now.
To Madmax757,
Not really interested in selling those items, but thanks for the asking.
Still want to keep the stuff around, but I don't feel the need to clutter up my closet with a lot of clothing that will not be worn again by me.
Anyone else have some thoughts ????
