Generally companies are taken private via new debt issuance. Outstanding debt doesn't really factor into their play.

Needs to be muzzled? Why?

And what does Apple have to do with anything? He made a smart bet. Good for him. He plays the market like it should, going long. It's too bad most boards, managers, stockholders don't think the same way. I'm glad to see sh!theads like Icahn sell Apple just in time for Buffett to pick them up.
