In all seriousness, isn't this the 3rd operational meltdown now for Ed in barely a year post Richard? RA blew gaskets when these happened. Then again, *** can you do with mother nature and ATC?
Tough to read out on left coast but some concern with operation?

Its time for an emergency directive to stop the burning of billions in worthless buybacks and dividend increases and invest in the company and operation until such time as it gets to the point it can function effectively in the real world.

But if we stop buybacks then DAL stock goes down and if DAL stock goes down then all those shares our executive team has are worth less. They'd essentially be giving themselves a pay cut and you know that's not gonna happen.

There is a bigger issue here.
DAL is becoming ballsier when it comes to dealing with major weather events. We saw it in ATL with the storms this week, last month it was trying to run a full schedule thru NYC/BOS during a blizzard. They are pushing it to the brink and this week it all blew up in their faces. They still won't learn.
Cancellations forecasted thru Monday now, also.

More pilot PA's at the gate than I've ever seen. Lines 300 people deep for Cust Service. I haven't heard a word from Senior Mngt. Complete FAIL of employees and Customers. Embarrassed of our Companies actions. We're better than this, but I do believe we did all we could as crew. It's still not over. If you're still in the mix and need help and no one will answer, try emailing CPSC - I hear it works.

Um.... it was the first time EVER that the PAR 3 tourney at the Master's was cancelled. The wx sucked. the wx was bad... ** happens. Every now and then even the best run airlines collapse. Don't turn it into a "Breaking News" state of fear ** story. I'm sure the Big D compensated people properly...
It was not system wide. I was on a transcon trip between MCO and LAX and didn't even notice anything was wrong...
Sure it was bad.... but Ed's fault? Not so fast... or maybe it was... Breaking News...
