Default In house job fairs

After talking to a few Consulting groups, it seems that the consensus is that major airlines are going to cease their attendance at big job fairs. In lieu, they will donin house job fairs where they have more control over who attends and can keep costs down on recruitment (recruiters need hotels and rentals and so forth).

As I didn't hear about the FedEx one until a week too late, I was wondering if anyone had better ideas about how to keep up with these events? Would hate to miss out on an opportunity.

I've seen all of them discussed both here and also on the various airline-specific RST Facebook groups. FedEx and SWA also had information on their Pilot Credentials sites.

Hanging around on APC might help too.

Just a guess but if these big job fairs end, the membership numbers are gonna take a hit at WIA and OBAP.

Subscribe to your union email. The UAL, ALA, FDX, JBU job fairs have all been co-sponsored with the union.
