Talking with training center instructors I ask them is there a common denominator of people that need more training? 99% of the time they will say single pilot fighter guys. They don't come in with the necessary CRM skills and try to fly the plane like a fighter. Now could I take my 121 skills and think I could fly a fighter well, no but my point is I would say your more "highly trainable" than anyone else.

Having done both, I disagree. It's not a pedestal, it's fact. There's a reason the flight time is more desirable. I seriously doubt your 99% stats. In fact, I've seen lots of flow-through pilots struggle. And have heard the same from CAs and Check Airmen. What are the actual numbers?
I'm not saying this job is a cakewalk or civ-only pilots are bad, but it's not even close to leading multiple aircraft into a high threat environment while employing multiple types of weapons. And it's 100% PIC. No pilot monitoring. No magenta lines.
CRM is taught within the flight. It's not a huge leap to go from being a good wingman to being a good FO.
