I don't know of you have a family but taking on a flying career at 35 is near certain financial death. You will be assured to be poor for a long time. SkyHigh |
I'll be 67 next month. I have nine turbine type ratings ... any hope for me?
Just kidding, retire at 60 worked for me. |

Please...I say go for it! Enjoy life doing what you want to do, not what you have to do. Stay in the game, the money will come. I've been a pilot for 25 years. I started when I had two kids and a wife (not in that order) and we did it. Go for it and don't give up!!!!

It is unfair to put them through the early years as a pilot.
Skyhigh If someone wants to get into this industry, send them to me so they can see how I live. Let them ask my family if it was "unfair". You can pick my car out it has the bumper sticker on it that says: "Livin' the Dream and Bringn' the Winners with me!!" ;) |
