Is the aviation industry racist against white men? Think about it. I have dozens of male white friends that have been working at regionals for years, and the majors won't even look in their direction. Meanwhile, I have female and non white male friends who could work at a regional for a couple months and be sucked up by a major. It was the same when they were CFIs, and they got hired by the regionals the instant that they got their minimum ratings. I get that diversity is a good thing, but isn't it a little unfair when female/PoC aviators get special treatment over white male aviators? |
