PPB seems like something real from a guy who works there?

Why do you think the PPB will be revisited in October?

the PPB says it will be reviewed and adjusted as needed every quarter... we shall see if that happens

And is the above something management has publically discussed?

Poor Pilot Benefits or Pilots Paid Badly?

One thing you never want to be at a ULCC trying to control costs, is something that costs a lot of money.

I may be wrong but a lot of the current LCCs seem to have thrived due to the after effects of 9/11.

That kind of pilot glut (hopefully) won’t happen again. All these startups will have to compete with both majors and LCCs hiring with much better pay and work rules. From 2001-2010 there really was nowhere to go except a few dozen openings here or there.

it’s the operating agreement document between the company and the pilots.

As much as I despise some things about ALPA/ALPA National, I think BZALPA is a necessary evil and would be a lot better than a hypothetical BAPA. BAPA would hardly be better than the pilot values committee.

The company would probably promote such an entity.
