SSSS
Just got this from the KCM folks:
If you are a Selectee, indicated by the Quad S marking (SSSS) on your boarding pass, you are required to go to the passenger checkpoint and submit to the regular passenger screening process before entering the sterile area. DO NOT go through the KCM® Access Checkpoint. Not only will you be sent back to the passenger checkpoint, but you could face additional consequences for non-compliance that include possible loss of your badge. When you complete the screening, your boarding pass will be stamped/punched by TSA, acknowledging your compliance. I take it this means we'll need a paper boarding pass since I'm pretty sure I don't want TSA to "stamp/punch" the electronic boarding pass on my iPhone. |
Why would you ever get a boarding pass before security?
Honest question |
What world is this persons cubicle located in and who ****ed them off?

You could get the SSSS on your boarding pass from the gate just the same... then you're at an even bigger inconvenience.

I've never heard of this. If you get one of those at the gate you have to go all the way back to security?

I’m smelling the foul stench clueless bureaucrat here.

This is something that has been in effect forever. They are now however really starting to monitor compliance. I always get a electronic boarding pass and check for this reason when non reving. It will show there also.
