I really don't mind 'em all that much as long as they stay asleep and don't touch anything when they're awake.

Thank goodness for the Age 60 rule! I think they knew what they were doing back in the days that they created it.

Yes people do live longer and they are healthier.
But NO STUDY shows that all the marbles are still there.
Buy some golf clubs and get the h@## out of here.

In today's Fort Worth Star-Telegram is a tidbit that SWA is supporting its pilots on challenging the age 60 rule. SWA spokesman Ed Stewart said "Our thought is that Southwest Airlines has dedicated and talented pilots that are being forced to retire because of chronological age."

So, if you think you wanna fly professionally for an airline past age 60, go to SWA!

How many of you would feel safe as a passenger with a 727 ****pit crew comprised of a 63 year old captain, a 64 year old first officer, and a 75 year old F/E?

Frightening.

Then don't get on a foreign airline. KAL, JAL and others already have Age 60+ pilots in command.

Default Age 60

I think that the age 60 rule should stay in place.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I think you might be a little confused. You just read YOUR job description. OR, as we Captains call you, the cockpit “sexual advisor”.
