While the picture is kinda funny they are not wearing 8 stripes its 4 stripes with a black line in between that makes it look like 8. And to the overall uniform who cares. I personally know one of the guys and I would put my family on his airplane any day of the week into any airport. You could not find a better airman nor person who is more loyal and mission oriented. Overall a great guy who has had my back and those I've worked with. Not always does a uniform make.
I wish them well and welcome the competition as we all are better for it.

I’m glad you know him. What about all the passengers and now the internet who see’s him? I believe you that he’s probably a great person. But to those who don’t know him the uniform certainly isn’t helping - hence the current meme roasting. The uniform comments have nothing to do with added competition. I agree with your post.
