Claims Owed to Former Midway Pilots Who Can’t be Located


The United States Bankruptcy Court in Raleigh, N.C. approved a settlement with ALPA in the Midway Airlines Corporation Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceeding, providing payments on certain claims to former Midway bargaining unit pilots. Payments to the overwhelming majority of pilots have been made. However, the Chapter 7 trustee and ALPA have not yet been able to determine the current addresses of some of the pilots and, therefore, no distributions could be made.

It is important that any known addresses be determined as soon as possible, as there may be a cut-off for pilots who are not located in the near future.
