We got rid of blue chips a long time ago, cheese-its were 5 cents cheaper per flight.

Let’s tap the bakes on greatest pilot group in the game. I think that’s really debatable. Best looking however? There can be only one. It’s us.

I say the DOJ blocks this merger

The Biden DOJ has been very eager to block mergers. Google it and see the long list of mergers they have squashed.

This merger is going to be a lot harder to get thru than the Frontier/ Spirit plan. It'll be very interesting to watch how this all plays out

Making the right campaign contributions in the right amounts is the key to merger success. It has nothing to do with supporting competition. It’s a pay to play system.

Much of the Biden bill (law?) will aim to block mega mergers in the $10b+ range. While this would see scrutiny (like every merger in history) it’s unlikely that it would end up a blocked deal. Money fixes everything and having contributed to the right campaigns greases
the wheels of progress. This isn’t United (Legacy) getting rid of a ULCC, it’s an LCC combining with a ULCC which doesn’t create a monopoly in virtually any segment more than either carrier already has established.
