This is a thread for the merger/acquisition going on in place of the other two dumpster fires that got shut down.
I’ll attempt to keep an eye on this one in the interest of keeping it strictly to facts (or speculation/wild guesses.) It won’t be for insulting each other or the mothers you came from.

So, I'll give it a shot.
What will the transition training footprint do to the ability to have new hire training?
I think I remember that SWA put all TRA (including 737 typed pilots) through new hire class (mostly for the Kool aid). If F9 happens, and F9 is the surviving brand, they will have to retrain 3000+ pilots. I think they are currently at capacity with 500/year. Even if they can use our training capacity after our LCAs are trained, we're looking at 2/3 years of transition training without any new hires.
