After much deliberation, decided to go with SWA. DAL also seems like it would be a great place to be so it was really tough. Both have pros/cons but in the end, SWA (time will tell) was the best for my situation. Any news from you? |
NGINEWHOISWHAT,
Southwest, as well as many legacy carriers are reducing capacity. I hope Delta does well - I have many friends there. But fending off USAIR and a good claim sale does not magically equal "strong company". |
DAL v SWA
If you want stability and job security AND don't mind that you are doomed to fly guppies for the rest of your carreer, SWA is the place to be. I use them to get to work and the agents, flight attendants and pilots are about the nicest in the industry.

I’d quit the industry if I had to fly the 737 for a whole career.

I’d quit the industry if I had to dress like Sean Connery in ‘Red October’ every day. To each his own...

As someone that grew up in a US/AA household, I'd quit the industry if I had to work for AA as well. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
