Default It started with Tumi…

Interesting to peruse the various major threads to see what current expectations are. It seems like UAs initial offer was so low, it caused a real backlash and now EVERYONE’s expectations have risen. Not only are negotiating committees seeing pushbacks on AIPs and TAs, but even Alaska that already came to an agreement has a thread or two lamenting that they didn’t get a better deal.

If slipping the Tumi TA by as a means to undercut pattern bargaining was the plan, it seems to have backfired rather badly - and not just on UA management.

You could offer $400/ hour to a pilot, and free hookers in each layover hotel and pilots will still complain.

400 an hour? You need to read the Delta AIP.

Or just a reach around to a spirit pilot and they’ll gladly dance for you
