You wouldn't know the start dates would you. Last I heard, the next class to get notified should be a 1Aug start. However, they seemed to be wrong about everything they predicted for the July classes.

I got a call from SWA Pilot Hiring today. I was told there are 300+ in the pool, there is one class in July and will be three in August. I interviewed with the type in May and met the June DB. She said I can expect a class in December or beginning '08.
Not sure who would have the better info, Pilot Hiring or the Training Center, but there appears to be a disconnect between them regarding the number of classes in August.

I received my type in April and was selected during the Feb. DB. I was told in June that I was tentatively scheduled to start class in August they would be notify me by letter approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior to my class date. I have been trying to contact the Peoples dept. to no avail. to see if things have changed.
If anyone does have any answers that would be greatly be appreciated!

My pool date is 20 March and I have an e-mail from HR saying that I will be in the next confirmed class. The last I heard, they expect that to start on the 1st of August, but they've been very hit and miss on predicting class dates.
If you interviewed with a type, your pool date is your interview date.
If you interviewed without a type, your pool date is the day you finished your type.
My latest rumor is one class in July starting on the 18th and three classes in August.

The word I heard from People dept. is specific Aug class date(s) have not been decided on, and that they would know better in about 2 weeks. July 18 is what I heard for next class.
Got my type on 25 May. I'm told I still have 4 classes ahead of me before I'm on property.
