What smart person would trade a problem that maybe lasts a few months for a problem that does nothing to solve their current situation in the short term and potentially creates a multi-year problem in the long-term? That isn’t logical.

I understand that in order to fly to 67 you'll be required to use your and you're correctly in a sentence. Additionally the usage of lose and loose will also be looked at.

whoever was in charge when 60 went to 65….thats who. In case you don’t remember, or weren’t there……it was the solution nobody needed to a problem that didn’t exist at the time.

Losing a pension right before retirement isn’t a problem? It was voted down by a slight margin and then when that happened with the bankruptcies it passed an alpa vote. Shorty after it became law. That’s the way I remember It anyhow. It definitely hosed more than it helped (myself included) but let’s not pretend there was no upside to those that were screwed out of millions in retirement.

That's apparently the case based on the MEC Chair and Central Air Safety Committee Chair joint email to all pilots. According to the letter some within ALPA, the FAA and the Company got ahead of themselves and put out information picked up by the press that isn't accurate.

I do agree that there are a lot of pilots with ego who chase the CA seat for pride or money and should really self-reflect.
