No, no, it hasn't. They are not even predicting Summer travel disruptions anymore. Sure, the cost has gone up, but it's that rising cost that has spurred producers to increase production and cargo operations to resupply it.

Our fuel suppliers as recently as this week have confirmed they expect no supply disruption right out to the middle of July, and the situation continues to improve,” Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said on Monday.
The airline boss said he is now confident that rising fuel imports from West Africa, the U.S. and Norway are making up for reduced volumes from the Middle East, caused by the blockade of most tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
The more optimistic mood is a stark contrast to the warning issued a month ago by Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency, who said European countries could face jet fuel shortages by the end of May.
But the agency's latest oil market report, issued earlier this month, now notes a surge in jet fuel production in the U.S. and West Africa.
"Alternative suppliers have moved to fill the gap," the IEA said. "The United States flipped from a net importer in April 2025 to net exporter in early 2026, as strong refinery runs pushed jet fuel output to multi-year highs."

BRUSSELS — The EU’s economy chief criticized the U.K.’s decision to loosen planned sanctions on Russian-origin jet fuel and diesel without giving prior notice to fellow G7 allies.
The U.K. issued a sanctions licence on Tuesday exempting jet fuel and diesel from a new import ban on oil products made from Russian crude but refined in India or other third countries, a decision which “came as a surprise,” according to Economy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis.
During a press conference on Thursday, the Latvian economist took aim at the U.K. for failing to raise its plans during the meeting of G7 finance ministers, which took place in Paris on Monday and Tuesday, and where U.K. Chancellor Rachel Reeves was in attendance.

How much longer do you think everyone can keep depleting their reserves to meet demand? We haven't even hit peak demand yet and last week was the largest drop in the US SPR in history. This facade that everything can just continue on the way it is is hilarious.
