Default Continental out of base pick up?

Guys,

Say you are based in IAH on a 756, you see that they have 80 reserves and only 40 required (assuming it ever happens), you drop a trip and..

Is it possible to pick up something fun and exiting out of EWR?

Thanks

You would enjoy an Indianapolis three day, Copilot Barnes.

Drop a trip? Funny.

Reserve coverage? Funny.

Pick up a trip? Funny.

Good luck with any of these.

Still the question remains:

Is it possible to pick up a trip from another base?

Thanks

Yes,

At exactly 12 hours prior to the trip showing you may pick it up as a lineholder out of base. You may not pick-up Air Mic trips and vice-versa though unless it is the 767-400.

Thank you!
I don't quite understand.. What is the window for that "exactly"? 60 sec?
That's for advertisements, right?
Do you nave to call scheduling on that or could it be done on the computer?

Thank you for your time
I have a friend there, but he doesn't know/care about out of base stuff.

Our CCS, (Crew Communications Software), has a clock that schedulers use to time such events. No, you can pick-up an advertised pairing anytime at any base if you are legal. The 12 hour rule applies to straight out of base open time. Yes scheduling must be called.
