I saw, ummm, 30 degrees (yeah... 30... it couldn't have been any higher or else we would have needed parachutes...) nose up once on an empty repo where we climbed up at V2 to 10000'.

How responsible. I guess the lessons from Pinnacle were lost on some of the hair gel crowd.

How is operating an aircraft within its performance envelope irresponsible?? I believe that there was much more than climbing within the envelope going on that lead to the Pinnacle crash. Lets compare:

Climbing at V2 : within the performance limits of the airframe

Pinnacle : Operating above the max altitude in the area of coffin corner, switching seats, improper restart procedures, overflying emergency airports...

Yep...these are one in the same in the responsibility arena!! ;)
