Default Liquids through security??

I have a question about getting liquids through security. I have a bottle of wine I want to get home, but I am not sure how the TSA will let me carry it on in my bag. I know that they really dont care if we bring bottles of water, but I am not sure about a bottle of wine, and I really dont want to lose it!! What do you guys think??

The TSA at different airports are like customs inspectors at different ports of entry. They're not very consistent from place to place. That being said, I recently brought a 750ml bottle of rum through PBI while in uniform and they had no problem with it. I even asked before going through and I was told that it was no problem since I was in uniform.

IN uniform OK.
Crews bring stuff back to DTW from SJU, MBJ,...
The problem is for pax. They buy stuff from Duty free, then go through customs, then have to go BACK through security, and have to throw the stuff out!!! This is in KFLL, and the way they have the customs/security set up. Even if they don't go through customs (coming from SJU, and connecting), if we use two different terminals, they have to go to the other terminal, and go through security, and dump the stuff. You would think they (Spirit) would figure something out for the pax.
