Default 737-200 vs 737-300 sim prep?

For those that have flown both, is there much of a difference between the two for a sim prep. Interviewing with an airline that does a ride in the -300 but have schedule the -200. Would there be any adverse effects of prepping on the -200? Thanks.

No. The 300's autopilot works much better and communicates with the flight director (which the 200's do not). But I would imagine your sim will be all hand flown and raw data so there won't be much difference.
Good luck!

If you can get the 300 do it. The A/P and Flt. Dir. in the 200 are dinosaurs like nothing you have ever seen unless you date back to the 60's. Most places will want you to use both (meaning A/P-F/D), very little raw data. You spend half you time figuring out how to use the 200 stuff, it's just not very intuitive. It might have been nice is 1969, but in 2007 it's a real PITA.
