Ted Stevens at work again:

I'm mostly amazed that the paintjob on the 737 cost $500,000!

All these watchdog groups are making me sick. One sided articles do too. However I must agree that Stevens may have a little too much power. But that ferry isn't a bad idea if they aren't going to build the bridge there.

Wow, $58,000,000 to promote seafood and create 200 jobs. That's $290,000 per job created from federal funds!!

Yeah, watchdog groups might bother me too if it was me they were watching. Stevens (while not alone in the Senate) has so much pig grease dripping down his chin it's a wonder he can grip a pen to sign all of his money-grabbing bills. (Obviously, he got nowhere stuffing them down the "tubes" that comprise the internet.

Don't forget, this guy is the chief proponent of the age 60 legislation.

What a maroon.

MAROON:

a person who is stranded (as on an island); "when the tide came in I was a maroon out there"
a dark purplish-red to dark brownish-red color
leave stranded or isolated with little hope of rescue; "the travellers were marooned"
an exploding firework used as a warning signal
leave stranded on a desert island without resources; "The mutinous sailors were marooned on an island"
of dark brownish to purplish red

I'm usually in the wrong place at the wrong time, but I happened to see the salmon at SEA last month while waiting for my own flight. Nice paint job, no?

"Maroon" Word used by Bugs Bunny to call someone an idiot. I would think someone of your vast intellect would have picked up on this!

"The tubes"!!! My all time favorite quote. I always knew that having brains wasn't everything.
