Oh yikes! Ordinarily if VX was interviewing, you would have been emailed a date for an interview at this point. However, the classes in June and August are full, and interviews should start again in August. I'm not sure if you'd have to re-apply. I would wait until August and see if you get any further email updates. If not, then find the email you got from the person who sent you the questionnaire. Fill it out, and then re-send it again to her in August once the interviews start.

Not the case at VX my young friend.
Uh........BS. I know of 4 former GoJet pilots there. There's probably more. There are TSA guys there also along with Mesa, Colgan, Skywest, Horizon, US Air, Jet Blue, Aloha, United, retired Delta, ATA etc.
I was refering to the fact that the pilot board does have a say if a candidate gets hired or not. A previous poster said HR makes all the decisions and the pilots input doesnt really matter. I could care less if youre from gojets or TSA, as long as youre not a tool and make the trip miserable. Thats all I meant.

Hey SurferL, the same thing just happened to me! Sent in my application, got the email with the link, took the test, and hoped for a reply! I hadn't heard anything so I checked up on the website and it shows nothing under 'jobs I've applied for'. As ShyGuy said, I can only assume this is because they no longer have a posting for FO-pilot positions? If anybody at VX has any additional info on this, it sure would be appreciated. Does this mean we all have to take that crazy test again? Yikes!

You are correct, I should have clarified. What I meant was that for many airlines, who gets called is changing largely from the pilot office to the HR office. The HR is almost in complete control of who gets called, and the online assessment weeds out the pool for them. Once the candidate is called for the interview, then of course the pilot board has a huge say in the matter of getting hired or not.

As I said above, what I would do is wait til August when the hiring window opens again, then find your questionnaire email, fill it out again, and re-send it to the same person. That would probably be your best bet.

ShyGuy- can I ask- if you don't work for Virgin, how do you have this info? Do you have an inside informant? Are you just going off of rumors you've heard about their class dates and hiring plans..? Just wondering..

ShyGuy, Is the interview (or, I guess was the interview) a sure thing if you got the CP questionnaire?
