Virgin America Online Assessment?
I got an e-mail the other day from VA to take their online assessment. When I was through I got the following message:
"Thank you for completing this assessment. Your responses have been received and will be reviewed by a member of the Virgin America recruiting team. If we do not contact you within 2 weeks, then we have found that your qualifications are not the best match for our job requirements."
I was told by someone that if you passed the assessment you would get a message that says something like "Congratulations..." Anyone know if the message I got is good or bad?

It never said "Congrats", it just said someone from the VX team will be contacting you soon, to tell you of the next step in the recruitment process.
It is an online "Proviso" that takes :25 mins, and it is very easy. They are looking for a team player, someone who wants a challenge, and a motivated, self-starter who will treat customers right. You can't study for it.

I wouldn't absolutely rule out the possibility, and I'm sure that airlines would like to do something like this if they thought they could get away with it...but is there any sort of evidence? Otherwise this sounds kind of like chemtrails...

I submitted the assessment and got called to set up the interview a few days later. The interview was very laid back and at no point did I get the impression they were looking for "sheeple". Their main focus was the ability to interact well with the passengers (they prefer to call passengers "guests"). I don't think I did too well at the interview, but that was my fault. I think its going to be a great company and I think they'll do quite well.
