Default Delta Per diem question

On the info page for Delta it lists per diem as $1.85 per hour domestic per diem. Is that per flight hour or hour on the road? As an old MAC crew dog I do know per diem, but I am a rookie in this world. Thanks,

Measured by "Time away from base". I.e. a two day trip starting at noon on Monday and ends noon on Wednesday, will pay you 48 hours per diem (domestic for you, more if you go international).
