That is not easy to answer as no one really knows (probably not even future planning), but recently some fairly junior people got their transfer out of DC and ORD to DEN, so anything is possible, at any time. A lot of it can depend on what hiring goes on next year and the movement of the more senior folks to captain spots and other aircraft.

Thats what I thought - saw on another forum a statement of "weeks/months", but I thought that UALs hiring is not advanced enough to create much system movement.

And for what it is worth, some of the junior people who just got their transfer, did not have to wait long-probably a couple of months. It is just that one can't count on when it will happen.

In general terms, for at least the last 6 months, United has had monthly vacancies/upgrades of at least 100 per month. That is what generates upward mobility-until the music stops when Age 65 passes.
