Yes, pretty much an evening guaranteed to make you happy and the wife frisky. Really something you will appreciate and remember for life.

Or vice-versa.

(69th post, BTW. Coincidence?)

Could be the same thing.... :)

The email from Brian Bolt had spouse in bold print. Is that significant? Will my fiancee be allowed to fly out. I left him a voice mail but he is a very busy guy. May have to have a quickie wedding... :-)

There are about 30 flights a day from LAX to JFK (including the 5 or 6 redeyes)... I don't think anyone does LAX-LGA. If you didn't want to go offline for some reason Delta has 6 a day, 2 of them are redeyes.

They will fly a fiancee, and you could probably talk Brian into a serious significant other. What they don't want is the flavor of the week who doesn't really care about you or Delta ruining a classy evening for everyone else. I think the quote was something along the lines of "I could write a book about some of the people who showed up at the dinners when we were flying in just anybody."

Rocket Bob.....You are right.

I am now retired from Delta. When I was offered a job at delta I accepted a class date one week later than I was originally offered because I wanted to finish a USAFRes line check that I had setup....

26 years later I was still 25 numbers behind the same guys in ATLANTA.....could have had better lines each December....

SENIORITY is EVERYTHING !!!!!

Just my humble opinion, but I would not leave him a message over something like that. That question can be answered better during a break, or while in class when folks are coordinating the names and travel passes.

As everyone knows, the New Hire Coordinator / Manager is VERY busy. There is a better time during indoc.

Delta is a low stress environment. I found someone had already thought of and resolved 99.9999% of the things I was worried about.

For example I just read Delta is providing PPR (your pass riders) S2B passes (higher priority) to fly with crew members who have to work over the holidays. Delta seems to try to do nice things for their people with the expectation that happy employees do good work.
