Default Delta code share pass riding

Can any of you active Delta bubbas tell me if a "Buddy Pass" rider can use the pass to get back to the USA from NRT on one of our code share partners flights? I know that we can`t use a pass on Air France to and from Atlanta, but what about the North West flights out of Japan? I gave one to a young lady and she`s worried about getting home from Japan...Thanks

Copied from Deltanet:

Buddy pass travel is allowed on flights operated by Delta and Delta Connection with the exception of American Eagle. Buddy pass travel is not permitted on codeshare flights or flights on other airlines.
Sorry....

OK thanks for the reply...I suspected that...I`m afraid the lady might be in for trouble trying to get home, however she was warned....

No, it`s not..actually 78 seats for 27 December(as of today). Just trying to make sure this young lady has a "plan B". A 21 year old, who has never been outside the US, going to Tokyo then a train to Hiroshima to visit her fiance` stationed there with the USAF. They are to be married next year. I promised her a buddy pass, but am worried that she`s gona get stuck (no pun intended) there.

Don't know what day she's coming home, but don't forget to check the blackout dates around christmas and new years for buddy passes.

Unless she's already started her travel, she'd be better off grabbing a roundtrip ANA or JAL flight from Haneda to Hiroshima then catching the shuttle from Haneda to NRT. Unless she is/was able to crack the code on the trains from NRT into Tokyo and make the switch to the Shinkansen.

No, she leaves on the 18th of December. I have repeatly warned her about the difficulties of travel in Japan.
