I was just wondering if anyone who reads here is going to the interview Dec 10th. I am getting excited and more nervous by the day. Plan on prepping the day before as long as I get an early flight to Atlanta. I thought we could bounce ideas off each other here before the big day. Good luck to all, fly safe.

From: 18%er but I’ll enforce UPA23 to the last period.

Good luck! Obviously I have a soft spot in my heart for the widget and if my timing had been different I would have loved to have been there!

Total time only matters to get through the door. Once you are in the interview is really does not matter. It becomes about you and your abilities to get along with others, decision making ability, and passing that cog and psyche tests.

My first ever post. I keep seeing folks that are getting called for a DAL interview. I have had my app on line for almost 6 months with 5 recomendations. 3 internal. Does it take someone dropping it on the desk of the person making the selections. Any advice on how to get that foot wedged firmly in the preverbial door would greatly be appreciated.
Cheers

ID90,
I've had my app in since January and finally one of my internal recs took it to the Chief Pilot's office with a few kind words. I was called in for a meet and greet with someone in the CP's office. That's worked for me as I was invited for an interview a few days thereafter. I've also heard that having someone walk your stuff into the hiring manager is not that good right now so I would stay away from that. Good luck, hope this helps.

ID 90 if it is military time it is more than enough.
Having your stuff walked in to the CP's office by a line guy or a line guy walking you stuff in to pilot recruitment is the way to go. I have walked stuff in to Arnie's office and the guy has had an invite that day. Some times it works other times there has been an error on the app and they get an e-mail about it.
Trust me. They want to know about the good ones. It saves them a ton of time reading the 12K apps that they have. It is easier to pick one out of the bunch than to start at the top.
