Nope. Was told 747 SO, or DC-9 FO. I asked, because I did not hear about the DC-9, and she said yes. DC-9 and 747 SO.:confused::(

Wow! O.K. I guess plans have changed. I don't know what they are planning on with DC-9s in ANC, but yes 747 SO is a very good possibility. But if you're up there in age, you could probably avoid it.

There isnt anyone going to the DC9 in ANC. ANC will be a 747FE position which you should avoid since you will be towards the top of your class when the time comes to choose.

Talking with a few that have started class at NW with in the past month...It seems like only 2 persons per class have gone to the 747-2 SO position. The 2 most junior persons.

That's on par with what I have heard.

Superpilot92 and johnso29...are you both new hires at NWA? I have recieved a conditional offer for the Feb. 11 class...I am still waiting on the background check and physical.
