NWA phone screen?

Anyone know what this is like? I got back to DTW yesterday from UAL interview, and had a voicemail to call NWA for a phone screen.?
When it rains it pours, and now the Age 65 thing. ***?

Its pretty much just a verification of your info and usually then an interview offer/date. good luck

Thanks. No questions?

No "interview" type questions. Like he said, verification of what you put on your app. For some reason quite a few folks miss/misread the traffic violation question on the app, so if you missed it, don't be afraid to correct the information and tell them you had a speeding ticket or something like that. As long as it's not excessive or a DUI it's no big deal. When you call them back, they're going to want to know your flight time in the last year/6 months/etc, so if you have that information handy it'll be helpful. Generally as long as you can verify what you put on your application, they'll end the call with an interview offer.

They verify the most important ones: " Did you have any update for traffic violation/citation", or "Do you have any update for FAA violation, accident/incident? "...

They will ask you those again at the beginning of your interview as well, just to make sure you're still qualified. I think like most majors, they are very serious about all the skeletons in the closets.

Thanks. Just got off the phone with Vicki (sp.?). For others:
Why do you want to come here?
Are you OK with dc-9 in ANC?
Anything else you want to tell us in yourbackground?
Very pleasant lady.
BTW, not all skeletons disqualify. Depends on how long ago.
Offered an interview, waiting to get my schedule for next month, and call her back. Her first was for the 14th if anyone cares.

ALSO anyone know how seniority is determined? I tried to search, but I am a little slow. Hopefully it goes by age, and being an old man, I won't actually have to go ANC.???

O.K. I'm sure you meant 747-200 FE in ANC, but I just wanted to check. Also, seniority is determined by age, if someone has the same birthday I think it goes by SSN. Good Luck!

See wasnt so bad ;) Seniority in class is determined by age so if you are older there is a good chance you wont have to worry about ANC. Congrats and good luck.
