Just out of curiosity how do you guys think the bases will rank as far as easiest to hardest to hold?

LGA - ACY - DTW - FLL - SJU

SJU is planned to have 23 FOs and 24 CAs stationed there. Not sure on the numbers for anything else. I'm pretty sure LGA and ACY is 4% each..Subject to change within 30 seconds after I hit "Submit Reply."

Edit: LGA and ACY will have the fewest slots available overall in the system. Estimated 15 crews per base plus reserves.

hardest to hold for Captain? or FO.. i am sure it will differ....
NJGOV listed LGA.....however I think ACY will be the most senior for Captains.

but I think fo f FO's....DTW will be the most senior.
I think it will be for FO's hardest DTW, LGA, ACY, FLL, SJU Easiest
for Captains ACY, DTW, LGA, FLL, SJU

This is just my opinion...and only based only on my observations.

When I was at Eagle San Juan was the Junior Crew base. It was a revolving door. Most new hires went to "the Rock" San Juan and as soon as they could bid out they did. I am sure that is what is going to happen here. I am sure there will be people who want to stay there. I know they are trying to hire guys from there to have less transfering around the system but I don't see that being an easy task.

I would be surprise if a lot of Capt's get displaced to SJU. I think that with the number of Capt's based there we most likely have enough eager souls who would upgrade no matter the location. I think you will see captains with two years on the property upgrading. If I was single and had not kids I would do it for the experiance so if anything happend you would be better positioned to find a new job with the PIC time in type. Thankfully, I do not have to make that descision thank God. Good luck to all..
