Also note that due to Capt Kraby's family issues and interview pilots needed to fly the line, that interview dates will need to be slid a bit. Please pass the word to all interviewees to not sweat the delays. There is no issue other than availability of Delta folks to do the interviews. Good Luck All?
That's correct. Was called today to push interview back a week. All because of conflicts with interviewer's schedules.

Looking for some inside info here.

With the class sizes so big, how many people are on reserve on the 88 in NYC? I thought I read that the base had 70ish people in it? So, if for example, there were 15-20 slots for NYC 88B in a newhire class, would being at the top of the 88 picks in such a large class put someone holding a line right off the bat?

I think even with a large class size, not everybody will be going to NYC 88/7ER. I think BB usually split the a/c assignment so that it won't be so lopsided. My bet would be 35 or so between the NYC 88/7ER, and the rest goes to CVG/SLC/LAX... Good luck to ya all!

But i think if that many of us goes to the 88, it shouldn't be more than a month on reserve, and friends tell me they get 16-17 days off on 2nd month. Can't wait to get started!

I saw him doing just that today at lunch. The room on the 1st floor by the FTDs is set up and ready for the next class.

I feel bad for you guys, that room is going to be packed with all of you in it. We had 23 and it was tight. 50 is going to be nuts. Hopefully they will move it.
The new classes are in the Tng Center, Room 109, vs OC-3 where I had mine years ago - due to larger class sizes.

Just to make things clear........
For you to get the "cleared to train" letter, all they are waiting for is the psych results and medical correct?

No - the cleared to train email is the good one. The next contact from Delta will be a call from Brian with a class date. Congrats!
