As I said before, never trust Corporate "projections." If they were all true, jetBlue would have over 200 Airbus' by now.
And there are several other airlines I could name that blew sunshine up the skirt of new hires, telling them they'd be Captains in 2 years. Then along comes $110 bbl oil and a change to the retirement regulatory age. Suddenly, airlines are parking jets, putting out displacement bids and furloughing. That's the nature of the aviation beast. Just as its always been. |
