Cost of fuel getting out of hand....can't make money if this continues...

Finally, somebody that has read a book on economics and seen that there does not exist a single politician that has ever looked past 1st order effects of monkeying with the market. No offense, but anybody that puts up Jimmy Carter as anything but a failure should really look and see how he affected this country. I was born during his tenure, and I know how he screwed up the country. Many of you were probably old enough to remember the downturn our country took. Let's never forget.

Oil Price a Catch 22...
Well, so oil gets real expensive, everyone worries about how the airlines are going to stay financially solvent because jet fuel gets real expensive...then the cost of oil plummets due to deep-seeded concerns about the state of the economy...so now airlines can afford to fuel their aircraft (in theory), but now your average American can no longer afford to fly, due in part to drastically increased fares and reduced ability to afford to travel. Looks like a teeter-totter to me.
My guess is that oil will be right back into the low $100 range before we know it. I've always maintained that the only way we'll ever see oil plummet is due to a worldwide economic depression, so if oil is falling rapidly and continues this decline, hold on tight, the cost of fuel is the least of our worries...
