NWA to hault classes after April 28?
 

Now I know NWA has been delaying classes because of the back log of students in the training deptartment, but I have also heard that the HR dept. is now telling people that April 28 is going to the last class for the year. Has anyone been offered a class in May or June that might want to share some info?

I know a couple people that were supposed to be in the april 21st class and they were called today and told class would now be on April 28th and that would be the last class till at least the fall. I know that some people were given classes in May so hopefully they either get moved up or are put into the next class ASAP. Sorry guys to any of you that might be dropped into the pool. Hopefully someone with some more solid info than my second hand stuff will fill us in. Good luck guys!

I just interviewedon Tuesday the 26 no one said anything. Waiting for a call.

I'm in the may 5 class and haven't heard from them

As soon as I hit post I got a call from NWA. May 5 is cancelled and am now in a pool. They don't know when they will start up again. The order in the pool is based on your original class date.

Did they state how long you could be in the pool? I have heard that those canceled at United will have a job offer for one year. If they are not called out of the pool by then, they loose the job offer.

The 26th of which month? The 26th in March was a Wednesday...

In class now, they didnt say anything today, but I did hear that the last class (April 28th) all would be going to the panel (747-200) in ANC (again, just heard do not take it for stone), but they were not sure when they would start back up.

The April 21st class has been moved to April 28th and that is the last class for the near term. All pilots in that class will be assigned 747 SO.
