" In a meeting on Tuesday, the Civil Aviation Administration of China vowed to strip pilots of their licenses for refusing to land their planes on schedule, the Beijing News reported.
According to the paper, pilots flying 18 China Eastern Airlines routes refused to land due to bad weather and returned to their point of departure during regional flights in southwestern China's Yunnan province on Monday."

The Chinese don't tolerate mistakes or disobedience. They're vey difficult to deal with. I got 2 friends flying for Eva Airways, they hate the airline, they hate the job, and they hate the way the do business. If you make a mistake, you have to be punished. There are no ASAP forms over there, if you make a mistake, you might get fined, and you will get suspended.
When regional kids get a call from one of these airlines, they get all happy. " wow I'm going to fly a 777 or 747" then they get there, and reality sets in. I know, I was one of them.
