Not all airlines ... Airtrak, a subsidiary of Amtrak, will still be operating using equipment from all the other airlines. The prices aren't too bad, but the seemingly frequent accidents are a bit disconcerting to the flying public ...

Go check out your email, spamec-fastread:

There will be no bankruptcy.
There is no talk of liquidation or merger.
There is no planed furlough or reduction in force.

Strait from the company and union.......

POI said much the same yesterday; $150 a barrel is another story but I don't think NK is the only ones worried about that.

Everyone.

Don't worry about it ($150 bbl oil, or wherever it goes). There is nothing you can do about it beyond conserving fuel when you are at work. Just reduce your expenses personally so that if it does happen, you won't be left holding the bag! (i.e.- Live within your means)

Where did you get that from? :eek:Are you a pilot at Spirit?

NJGov 05-31-2008 12:04 PM

Confirmed. A letter was sent out by our "ALPA Email Committee" informing us that the company filed WARN to give us 60 days notice of pending displacements and / or furlough affecting 242 pilots.

Nothing else said so far, and any speculation is just that - speculation. More facts to be delivered at the end of next week.
