41 Million Fewer Flights Taken
The Travel Industry Association (TIA)'s latest commissioned survey shows that Americans took 41 million fewer flights in the last 12 months. I wonder how all this plays out in the complex mix of fuel costs, higher fares, diminished capacity, union negotiations, bankruptcies and all the other myriad factors that make up the airline industry today. As Bette Davis said "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy [ride]."
