MX Strike
At that point in time, the union felt that had the pilots conducted a sympathy strike the Company would immediately file Chapter 11 which was what we were trying to avoid at all costs. in 20/20 hindsight maybe we should have and got this process started sooner. It has also been the policy of all the unions at NWA not to actively seek support from other unions during a work stoppage but to let each group decide for themselves what is in the best interest of their group. Accordingly, we did not ask AMFA to support us the last time we went out. I hope that answers your question. Whether those are good policies, only time will tell
