Default Airtran jumpseat

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I have a quick question.

Does Airtran still charge a fee for on offline jumpseater?

Is the online seat map pretty accurate for estimating load?

Trying to get to PBI in the near future.

Thanks in advance for the help.

No, there is no fee anymore. I wouldn't really trust the seat maps much. Good luck getting to PBI. I can't remember the last time I wasn't on the jumpseat going back and forth.

Gmeter is correct, do not trust the seat maps on airtran.com.

Good luck!

We can take unlimited jumpseaters. However, even if you are positive space (FEDEX, UPS, NETJETS, ETC.) please stick your head in the cockpit and let us know. If we would need help with something, it would be nice to know someone is back there to help.

Thanks.

Whether you're jumpseating or positive space, you should check in with the crew to let them know what assets they have on-board should your skills be needed.

So, if someone is good with crossword puzzles. They should stop in and let you know in case you need help with 7 down?
