Should I marry a flight attendant?
I have a question for you pilots at the majors.
I am falling for a flight attendant at my airline. She has fallen for me, pushing for a ring already. I have been brainwashed, correctly perhaps, that these women shouldn't be married. Play with them and enjoy their company, yada yada, just don't marry.
I'm hoping to get some advice from any of you out there who have married a flight attendant. So far what I'm hearing from line slugs isn't encouraging. Thanks....

I have been an airline pilot for 39 years and many many of my friends have married flt attendants(female ones
) and like any other group some have been happy as hell ,and others have been in hell,, as usual it will be what you make it.

As for her being a flight attendant, I've seen it be both good and bad. I am convinced however, that it helps to have your significant other involved in the industry because they can understand where others can't. Try explaining duty and rest to a desk flier. Whether it will work for you all is a personal question you'll have to answer. Just don't let her push.. that's bad news..

If you have to talk to us about it, rather than her, don't even THINK of marrying her.
If you cannot talk to her honestly and openly about your feelings, aspirations, fears and misgivings, you certainly do not want to enter into a permanent covenant relationship with her. Work on that hurdle before you start worrying about her vocation.

Seriously, you have been given pretty good advice here................
Listen to your heart.......not your little brain (easier said than done for sure)
If she loves you and if she is worth it.........she will wait til your ready.
Don't do anything hastily.
