I too was a "Doubting Thomas" about the SSN thing back in 2000. Obviously C-360 is legit. If not there would be many posts about how many pilots got duped in losing their assets, wives and children... well maybe not so many complaints about the wives part.

To C-360 and SAT... good luck with the merger and may it be fruitful, and prosperous for both groups.

Wingnut, nothing against props but last time I checked Spey engines don't have props.

747flyer. Wayne did sound like a nice guy on the phone. So, who are guys merging with?

Ann thanks to all of you for replying and alleviate my concerns.

SAI, Southern Air INC. There are two threads about this, including the one you posted in.:)

YGBSM :D Yeager, if you're gonna eaves drop in our thread, pay attention. If you can't keep up, for gosh sakes take some notes or use the search function. I think the Cargo 360 thread is one of the longest ever in the "upstart" section of APC.com, thought we were gonna get our own sub section like the purple tails

Glass is Gone, for now......

The latest news is that SAH has made the decision that the -400s will not be joining the fleet for the foreseeable future and the "Fleet Modernization" plans will wait for the B777 BCFs. Fourteen classics and a wait and see for now. Sorry guys! I hear that the leadership at Evergreen has done the same thing. My sources tell me that they already had trained crews six months ago and the planes got sold off for a quick profit!

Same game different pitch!

400's don't fit into SAI's business plan. I can't see how the 777's are going to be any different.
