No offense taken. I didn't mean anything negative towards AirTran.

I'm not too sure what will happen from this interview remark, but rarely do CEOs make this kind of comment in an off-handed manner. We are always the last to know!

For the sake of discussion and opinions, how would this compare to the ATA/SWA agreement a handful of years ago ?

Why would SWA engage in talks with Air Tran-I ask this because this story is a one-sided story coming out of Air Tran.

Would the Air Tran pilots fare any better than the Morris Air pilots...bottom of the seniority list but enjoyed significant growth and seniority list movement afterwards. In my opinion, significant growth and movement in the seniority list is not conducive in these economic times.

Heck I would be would be willing to expand upcoming Mexico flying and even fly to Hawaii. Airtran has said that it expects to under use its 737's.
If SWA was to snap up Airtran "whole" I certainly would be grateful to work where people are led rather than managed.

Good Will all around. Big picture everyone will do what is in there best interest. The nature of competition.
